My dog Zeke is almost 14. Due to his age and the fact that he has done very well on Vetsulin both myself and his Vet did not want to switch him to another insulin. Our vet has enrolled hm in the Vetsulin Critical Need program and we have no problem getting Vetsulin. Before that I ordered from an online Canadian pharmacy. It is good to know that if your pet really needs Vetsulin you can get it for him/her.
