My 2 dogs would love one of these. They are skiddish of normal brushes but I think they’d love this!
My old English Sheep dog McCloud is a handful when I try & groom him trying to brush him is a no win task but getting petted oh he doesn’t want you to stop. When he sees the brush he bites at it even when I start before he sees it his head will whip around & hell start biting at the brush & start wiggling around making it hard for me to brush him. He is so bad that he gets mats so I have to take him to get his hair shaved. So he will never be able to have his hair grow the way his breed is supposed to be. So I think if this new grooming brush would work it could be the answer to my problem.
Delilah is a 70 pound 7 year black lab who is amazing! She is blind & has only partial use of her back legs but she doesn’t let this stop her. She enthusiastically follows me around the back yard, propelling herself like a seal. If I don’t take her with me to where I am doing chores on our 1/2 acre fenced property she cocks her head, listening & when she hears me off she goes to find me. And she never fails! I love Pets Meds for their quick service & great products & I believe the Genie would be very beneficial to Delilah’s thick fur, especially around her neck ruff & back. Summer is coming & her undercoat sheds constantly. Right now I use a combo of a comb & brush but I have to only do a little at a time so it doesn’t pull & irritate the delicate skin underneath with too much brushing/combing. The Genie might just be the answer to our grooming needs. Delilah would love it, I’m sure.
This reminds me of a grooming tool I had for a very sensitive, thin-skinned Thoroughbred. While he wouldn’t tolerate even soft bristles, the soft rubber curry comb agreed with him.
Fast forward to two rescue dogs, a Jack Russell, and in particular our most recent, Chloe the Rat Terrier. She came from a puppy mill/hoarding situation, and due to bad genetics (not her fault), she has some hairless places on her body. Because brushing would be so beneficial for her skin and coat, I have tried making it a regular thing. I have a soft bristled brush for the dogs, but she makes like the wind and leaves when she sees me reach for the brush. She loves her pets, though, and the idea that this mimics the petting sensation might just get her to like her grooming.
For me, the design would make it so much easier to hold than a handle, and I’d love to give the Groom Genie a home.

Ozzy is a rescue pup who has short hair, but sheds a ton. He’s not a fan of water or baths because they make him nervous. But, brushing him calms him down & helps me with the shedding. We’d both love to have one!
