My dogs are adopted from a rescue that pulled them after the first 3 months of their lives at a shelter. I got them at 7 months old and their teeth were already affected by ill health (not the rescues fault, the irresponsibles who put them at the shelter) so they get lots of dental chews and i brush their teeth too.
