Promote healthy joints and a happy dog in 2014

A supplement like Play Free can maintain your dog's joint health

With the start of the New Year, it’s important to make sure our pets are just as healthy as we are. We know the importance of feeding our pet a high-quality pet food, and making sure that he or she gets enough exercise, but you may not know the importance of proper joint health.

Our pet’s joints are just as important as the food they eat, and the exercise they receive. As our pets age, joints may become stiff and lose flexibility, which can make playing or exercising painful, and no pet parent wants that.

Play Free soft chews for dogs

Luckily, a joint supplement like Play Free Soft Chews for Dogs can help support mobility, flexibility, and joint comfort, and help dogs with joint tenderness due to everyday activity. Play Free can be given to dogs five pounds and over and has a yummy chicken liver-flavor. It comes in an easy-to-eat soft chew and works like other vet-recommended products by promoting joint comfort.

Play Free Soft Chews are great for senior dogs, or those that may be experiencing joint issues. These yummy joint supplements and other joint care products will ensure happy joints for years to come. Don’t forget to start younger dogs on a joint health regimen by incorporating products with omega 3 and glucosamine in their diet.

  1. I have a 13-14 year old german shepard/rot…she has been showing signs of joint pain going up and down stairs…getting in my suv…so the vet put her on carprofen 75mg…I have tried other supplements with glucosamine and it makes her throw up…the vet said she is probably allergic to shellfish…is there another supplement I could try that doesn’t have glucosamine in it?

  2. Hi Kim,
Yes, many of the products for joint pain do contain glucosamine. However, after having a conversation with our veterinarian, we recommend using Yucca Intensive, which is a purified extract derived from the Yucca plant thought to promote symptom relief similar to steroid medications, and Proanthazone, an antioxidant which Dr. Dym has been using for over 15 years as part of a joint health protocol in pets. Hope this helps!

HI James. You could try proanthozone, yucca intensive and super joint enhancer from 1800petmeds, but best to consult with a holistic vet on a more individualized approach on this case holistically.
