Daisy is chillin’ with her Peeps

If you celebrate, did you have a good Easter yesterday? I did, I did! One of the best things about Easter is the chance to wear a pretty Easter bonnet. I also got to wear my “Cute Chick” tee-shirt. Usually it is a mistake to combine a casual tee-shirt with a fancy bonnet, but I think in this case it works.

The other excellent thing about Easter is that I get to taste one of my favorite special treats: Peeps! This year I got pink Peeps chicks. The rabbits are pretty good, too. Peeps are also very fun to bat around, except be careful about getting your claws all sticky.

Nom, nom, nom!

Unfortunately, my Mommeh is pretty stingy with the Peeps. After I eat the head off of ONE, that’s all I get! It will be another year before I get to savor the sweet, sweet taste of Peeps.

And now I must pay the price with a good tooth-brushing. Is it ironic that my toothpaste is poultry flavored? My advice to you is: “Don’t eat the Peeps if you can’t brush the teeths!”

Harley is a little bit crazy and doesn’t like to taste Peeps. But he got this cute stuffed Peeps toy to play with, even though pink toys are really for girls.

What did you get for Easter?

  7. I got NOTHING for Easter! My human got a whole basket full of dark chocolate and we weren’t allowed any. And honestly, none of us cats like sweets anyhow. But I still should have gotten chicken or something, right?

  14. Oh Daisy, your Easter bonnet is the best. And Harley we like your stuffed Peep the best. That is too cute. Glad you made it on the blog. Daisy, we like your shirt too. Good to see you. Take care.

    Thank you Marg!

  16. I am sorry I missed your post yesterday, but I came by today to see what you did!
Your bonnet is amazing, you have such the fashion sense.
I have no teeth to brush, on account that there are no teeth brushes in the wild. Can I eat peeps? My mommy never gives me a peep… I feel neglected!
Glad you had a great Easter, Daisy

Ohai! I’m sorry you never got to taste a Peep, but I think that you might find other treats much more delicious!

  18. We always love it when you do your Easter peeps post, Daisy! And brushing is a must. 🙂

We’re glad Harley got something he liked, too.
