Daisy’s Boxing Day fiasco
Even though I am always a little bit sad when Christmas is over, there is one consolation. The day after Christmas is one of my favorite days of the year: Boxing Day! This is a special day designed just for cats who enjoy boxes, so we can have a good time with all the leftover boxes from Christmas. At least, I’m pretty sure that’s what Boxing Day means. Let me tell you my Boxing Day tale of woe. After carefully examining all the leftover boxes last weekend, I selected this box. It’s just the right size!
This is my box. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Also, for extra enjoyment, this box has one of my favorite catnip toys inside! So, on Saturday I was all set to enjoy a relaxing and fun Boxing Day celebration.
But wait! Just as I was ready for the Boxing Day festivities to begin, I sensed something that made my fur stand on end…
You guessed it, the Harleymaniac arrived to ruin my Good Times. He tried to distract me with his Jazz Paws, but I wasn’t fooled. He wasn’t there to entertain me, he came for MY box. Even though there was an assortment of other boxes for him to choose from.
Oh Harley, I give up. Take the box. And the Rainbow toy. I’ll go find another box. But it will not be as good as this one.
